- A Licensed Psychologist who is qualified for performing psychological evaluation and testing in the state of New Jersey
- Experience with psychological testing services and evaluating for ASD, LD, and ADHD
- Experience with providing therapy and counseling
- Complete psychiatric assessment, document results per company guidelines, and review the results with patients and their families
- Provide counseling and therapy, create and implement treatment plans, and complete session notes according to company guidelines
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and schools as needed
- Supervise pre-licensed staff members
- Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)
- Candidates are required to be licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey
- Have a doctorate degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
- Experience with completing psychological evaluations and maintaining appropriate documentation of testing services
- Familiarity with working with school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504
- Experience with providing direct counseling and therapy services to patients, including development and maintenance of treatment plans as well as therapy session notes
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Ability to supervise supporting and junior staff
- Proficient in the use of office technology and Electronic Health Record systems

Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time! So we created a new model: one that puts flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and our people first, while remaining a socially conscious and responsible for-profit business focused on changing how we treat mental health.
