Gambling and other addictions can affect every part of a person’s life, including their relationships, finances, and sense of self. The right therapist can help them find a path forward.

Our locally owned Ellie Mental Health clinic in Clinton Township is hiring a full-time LPC or LMSW with experience treating gambling concerns and other addictions. You’ll have room to use your clinical judgment, build strong relationships with clients, and work alongside a team that supports one another.

What you’ll do

  • Provide outpatient therapy for adults navigating gambling concerns, substance use, or other addictive behaviors

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Help clients build coping skills, address underlying concerns, and work toward lasting change

  • Involve families or other supports in care when appropriate

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with the Clinic Director and fellow clinicians to support quality care

What you’ll bring

  • A master’s degree in a behavioral health field

  • An active, full Michigan LPC or LMSW license

  • Experience treating gambling concerns and addiction

  • Skill in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-informed therapy

  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach and strong communication skills

  • Familiarity with electronic health records; Valant experience is a plus

Full-time clinicians are expected to average at least 25 recorded client sessions per week. Some evening or weekend availability is helpful for clients who need appointments outside standard work hours.
