You Bring the Therapy. We’ll Bring the Backup.

Are you a therapist who could do without the endless administrative nonsense that comes with private practice?

Same.

Or maybe you love the idea of going full-time in private practice, but all the moving parts freak you out?

Yep.

At Ellie Greenville, we’ve built a practice where therapists can do what they do best: help people. We’re growing our team and looking for passionate clinicians who want to make a difference in the mental health and wellbeing of our community.

So, who the heck is Ellie Greenville?

Ellie Greenville took root in 2023 with a mission to fight the stigma around mental health, fill gaps in care and remove barriers that keep people from getting the support they need.

We believe that starts with taking care of the people who provide that support. We’re a team of clever, compassionate, sometimes quirky therapists who believe therapy should be authentic, accessible, creative, collaborative, and human.

We’ve got your back with:

  • Centralized intake and initial appointment scheduling
  • Matching clients with therapists
  • Insurance benefit verification
  • Billing and claims support
  • Administrative support
  • Clinical consultation and collaboration
  • Trainings and continuing education
  • A team of therapists who actually love talking about therapy
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for therapists who are curious, creative, authentic, compassionate, and funny. You don’t need to fit a particular mold. In fact, we’d rather you didn’t.

We want clinicians who are passionate about quality mental health care, comfortable working with diverse clients and professionals, and excited about the freedom to build a clinical practice that feels meaningful to them.

Maybe you love working with adolescents. Maybe trauma is your thing. Maybe you geek out over ACT, EMDR, CBT, IFS, ART, play therapy, or something we haven’t even heard of yet.

BRING IT.

We want therapists who think creatively, try new things, collaborate with colleagues, and show up authentically for their clients.

Veterans, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ clinicians, and therapists from historically underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Ellie therapist, you will:

  • Maintain an average caseload of approximately 50 clients
  • Complete a minimum of 25 billable clinical hours per week
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluate mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing care
  • Complete clinical documentation according to clinical, company, and insurance requirements
  • Use creative and evidence-based interventions to help clients reach their goals
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships and provide exceptional care
  • Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, when clinically appropriate
  • Participate in consultation, staff meetings, trainings, and team activities
  • Contribute to a culture of humor, authenticity, acceptance, and genuine connection
  • Do other meaningful things we probably forgot to put on this list
WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field
  • Current South Carolina clinical licensure or active pursuit of independent licensure
  • LPC, LMFT, LISW/LCSW, or equivalent licensure is required
  • Associate-level clinicians with an active SC license (LPCA, LMFTA, LMSW/LMCSW, as applicable) are encouraged to apply

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain appropriate clinical boundaries
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time
  • Comfort working with a diverse client population
  • Proficiency with technology and electronic health records
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check
Even better if you have:

A favorite therapeutic modality you're borderline obsessed with, a sense of humor, the ability to laugh at yourself, knowledge of community resources, experience with insurance-based services, and a genuine desire to make therapy better for both clients and therapists.
