Clinic Manager
Location: Shawnee Mission, KS (New Clinic)

Let's start with what actually matters.

At Ellie Mental Health, we believe great mental health care starts with well-supported people. That includes our clinicians and the leaders who help them thrive.

We're looking for a Clinic Manager to help lead our newest Johnson County location in Shawnee Mission. This role partners closely with the Clinic Director to create a positive, high-performing clinic culture while ensuring our clinicians have the support, resources, and guidance they need to provide exceptional care.

If you're someone who enjoys developing people, solving problems, improving systems, and building an incredible team culture, we'd love to meet you.

Day in the life snapshot
  • Full-time leadership position
  • Reports directly to the Clinic Director
  • Mix of administrative leadership, clinician support, and a clinical caseload (approximately 20 client sessions/week)
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Opportunity to help launch and grow a brand-new clinic from an established Johnson County practice, which is locally owned and operated (you'll be working closely with leadership and owners)
This role is probably a great fit if you:
  • Naturally build positive, collaborative teams
  • Lead with empathy, accountability, and transparency
  • Enjoy mentoring clinicians and helping others grow
  • Communicate proactively and confidently
  • Stay calm when priorities shift
  • Like improving systems and solving operational challenges
  • Believe culture is just as important as productivity
We're building a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, feel supported by leadership, and are proud of the care they provide.

  • Ensure accurate EHR workflows and complete necessary documentation corrections
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members
  • Participate in leadership meetings and operational planning

  • Hold office hours for clinician questions related to documentation, billing, insurance, and clinic processes
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve client care and operational efficiency

  • Maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 20 client sessions per week
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and ongoing clinical documentation
