Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews and case notes.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session.
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other clinical staff and school staff as needed.
- Provide 1:1 and group supervision to a subset of the clinic’s mental health practitioners including reviewing and electronically signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.
- Conduct and participate in therapist interviews to achieve clinic hiring objectives.
- Manage supervisee performance, including implementing performance coaching and performance improvement.
- Be a part of clinic’s community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with Clinic Management.
- Collaborate with Ellie marketing team and Clinic Management to promote clinic’s online visibility.
- Operations manuals, employee handbooks and training materials will be provided.
- Staff new hire onboarding and training.
- Administrative functions (e.g. scheduling, billing).
- Human resources (e.g. payroll).
- Centralized credentialing and onboarding toolkits for new hires.
- Continuing education credits through online learning management system is in process of being rolled out.
- NY Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree.
- Experience supervising other mental health therapists.
- Knowledge of New York State requirements regulating mental health practice.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
