Are you a licensed therapist seeking autonomy of private practice without the isolation and administrative burden?
At Ellie Mental Health – Lincolnwood, we’re more than just a clinic—we're a collaborative ecosystem designed to help you thrive. We handle the administrative tasks so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional client care. We are seeking a passionate, part-time therapist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor and grow with us.
This part-time role is your gateway. As you successfully build your caseload, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time, W-2 position with a comprehensive benefits package.

- Competitive & Transparent Compensation: Earn a 40-60% split of insurance reimbursements, with your percentage based on your experience level. You are paid biweekly for smooth cash flow.
- Client Referrals: We are committed to building your caseload. We handle clinic-wide marketing and will advertise your profile across all our platforms. We also encourage and support your own outreach and community relations efforts to help you grow.

Fully Supported Practice:
- Welcoming Office Space: A modern, comfortable office for your in-person sessions.
- Supervision & Collaboration: Receive supervision and have regular opportunities to collaborate with a diverse team across all experience levels and specialties.
- In-House Psychiatry: Offer your clients the full spectrum of care with seamless access to our in-house psychiatrist.
- Peer Support: Always have someone to communicate with, learn from, and lean on.
- Current therapy or counseling licensure in Illinois (LSW / LCSW, LPC / LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD).
- Passion for mental health, reducing stigma, and making therapy accessible.
- Experience and interest in providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, authentic care.

Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
