Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) – Wexford, PA

Tired of burnout? Want to love being a therapist again? We’ve got you.

If you’ve ever worked in a toxic environment where your voice wasn’t heard, or you’ve been crushed under impossible productivity demands, this is your sign to make a change. We’re Ellie Mental Health in Wexford, Pennsylvania, and we’re on a mission to create a therapy home that’s different. Think authenticity, creativity, and compassion—sprinkled with humor, flexibility, and a whole lot of humanity.

We’re looking for awesome, fully licensed therapists (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) who want to do meaningful work in a hybrid role (some in-office, some telehealth). Bonus points if you like coffee, fun stickers, memes, or laughing in the middle of a serious staff meeting (yep, it happens...often).

Who We Are

Ellie Mental Health is here to destigmatize therapy and make mental health care more accessible. We offer therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups—always blending clinical excellence with creativity. Our vibe is authentic, collaborative, and sometimes silly, but never boring. If you want to work with a diverse client base and be supported instead of micromanaged, you’ll feel right at home.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Independence of private practice without the headaches—plus W-2 stability.
  • Flexible scheduling for real work/life balance.
  • Hybrid setup: bright Wexford office + telehealth from home.
  • Ellie Match tool pairs you with the right clients.
  • Clinical supervision, consultation, and continuing education.
  • Marketing, advertising, and admin support to grow your caseload fast.
  • Competitive pay: $67,000–$113,000+ with commission (plus performance and referral bonus opportunities).
  • Full benefits: PTO, paid holidays, training hours, 401k match, license renewals, medical/vision/dental/life insurance, paid Psychology Today profile, liability insurance, AI note-taking support, and a company laptop.
  • A collaborative team that values authenticity, humor, and support.
  • A workplace that’s serious about therapy—but never boring.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and build treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy that’s creative, compassionate, and client-focused.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in our EHR (Valant users, you’re ahead of the game).
  • Carry a caseload of at least 33 scheduled sessions weekly (27 billable).
  • Work at least two evenings until 8:30pm (or one evening plus part of Saturday).
  • Coordinate care, join team meetings, and participate in community outreach.
  • Occasionally support with scheduling/billing follow-ups (team effort!).
  • Checking and confirming the accuracy of client insurance verifications performed by the Practice's verifications team and updating records as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues who will cheer you on, share memes, and help you grow.
What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
  • Fully-clinically licensed in PA (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Experience with intake assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
  • Comfort working with diverse populations.
  • Solid boundaries and communication skills (but also able to laugh at yourself).
  • Familiarity with Apple products, EHR systems, and telehealth.
  • Must pass a background check and provide three professional references.
  • Ability to be in our Wexford office part of the week (sorry, not 100% remote).
Why Apply?

Because therapy should feel good—for clients and therapists. At Ellie, you get to do meaningful, challenging work in a culture that values your well-being, quirks, and humanity. Bring your whole self, bring your ideas, and bring your sense of humor—we can’t wait to meet you.

Let’s change mental health care together… and maybe share a few laughs along the way.
