Location: Deerfield, Illinois 60015. (2215 Lakeside Dr, Bannockburn, IL. 60015)
We’re hiring Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, etc.) and Pre-Licensed Therapists (LPC, LSW under supervision) who have a specialty and/or passion for serving one or more of these populations:
- Children & adolescents (including working with parents/caregivers for whole-family support; preferred skills in Play, Expressive, Somatic Therapies, CBT, and/or DBT)
- Executives & professionals experiencing stress, burnout, or workplace challenges
- Couples (preferred experience with Gottman Method, EFT, and/or systemic approaches)
- Neurodivergent clients (ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergent identities, using affirming, strengths, & evidence-based approaches)

- Provide professional, client-centered therapy using evidence-based approaches
- Maintain a caseload (full-time average: 25+ weekly sessions)
- Complete documentation efficiently while prioritizing quality care
- Participate in case consultation, staff meetings, and trainings
- Support the whole client, from children and caregivers to couples and professionals, with a holistic, compassionate approach
- Master’s degree (or higher) in a mental health discipline such as Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology
- Active and/or working toward Illinois licensure (PsyD, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC, or LSW)
- Experience with independent diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Strong professional boundaries, communication skills, and ability to work with diverse clients
- Comfort with technology (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Electronic Health Record Systems)
- Community referral connections and/or an existing client base
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience with children, teens, couples, executives under stress, and/or neurodivergent clients
- Familiarity with community resources, insurance billing language, and documentation practices

Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
