Just people helping people. Want to join the herd? 🐘

Let’s start with what actually matters.

At Ellie Mental Health, we believe great therapy starts with well-supported therapists. Not productivity robots. We’re on a mission to compassionately transform the culture of mental health care by making wellness more human, accessible, and sustainable—for clients and clinicians.

We're looking for a fully licensed therapist (LCPC, LCMFT, or LSCSW) who is passionate about providing exceptional clinical care while helping strengthen and support our clinical team. If you're interested in providing clinical supervision to provisionally licensed therapists (or would like to grow into that role), we'd love to talk.

Day in the life snapshot
  • Full-time outpatient therapist
  • Approximately 25 client sessions per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Competitive compensation
  • Opportunity to provide clinical supervision (based on licensure and interest)
This role is probably a great fit if you:
  •  Care deeply about your clients and your colleagues
  • Enjoy mentoring, collaborating, and helping other clinicians grow
  • Communicate openly, kindly, and proactively (especially when things feel hard)
  • Are self-directed but appreciate being part of a supportive team
  • Welcome feedback as part of growth—not criticism
  • Want autonomy in your clinical work without feeling isolated
  • Believe a healthy team creates better client outcomes
We're building a culture where people feel respected, supported, and proud of the work they do.

Clear expectations (because transparency matters):
  • Maintain an average caseload of approximately 25 client sessions per week
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Flexible scheduling once productivity expectations are met
  • Some evening or weekend availability to meet client needs
  • If supervising, provide consistent supervision and mentorship in accordance with Kansas licensing requirements
Burnout is real, and dealing with it isn't just on you. We believe in self-care and mutual care, with realistic workloads, real flexibility, and leadership that actually shows up for the team—in and out of the clinic.

What your days will actually look like:
  • Providing thoughtful, creative, evidence-based therapy to a diverse client population
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with an engaged team that communicates well and supports one another
  • Using your clinical judgment freely—we trust you
  • Coordinating care with physicians, schools, families, case managers, and other providers as appropriate
  • Participating in consultation, trainings, and team meetings
  • Providing clinical supervision to provisionally licensed therapists (if qualified and interested)
What we offer (aka how we support you):
  • Competitive compensation with a transparent pay model (base pay + commission)
  • Additional compensation for providing clinical supervision
  • Flexible scheduling with genuine work-life balance
  • Comfortable, fully furnished offices
  • Clinical autonomy and respect for your judgment
  • A collaborative leadership team that values clinician input
  • Paid administrative time
  • CEU reimbursement and ongoing professional development
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Marketing, billing, scheduling, credentialing, and administrative support handled for you
  • Opportunities for leadership and career growth
  • Team celebrations, outings, and a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together
Qualifications (and things you’ll need):
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active Kansas LCPC, LCMFT, or LSCSW license in good standing
  • Eligible to provide clinical supervision in Kansas (preferred) or interested in becoming a clinical supervisor
  • Experience providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapy
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations
  • Ability to establish healthy therapeutic boundaries
  • Timely documentation habits
  • Experience with EHR systems (Valant is a plus, but training is provided)
  • Some evening or weekend availability to meet client needs (planned collaboratively)
Some evening or weekend availability is expected to meet client needs, but we plan schedules with you, not for you.
