- Connecting with clients and partners with a friendly, compassionate vibe—help folks find the right therapist match and get their first appointment on the books, reschedule or provide information
- Process medical records and Release of Information (ROI) requests (with therapist approval, of course)
- Follow up with clients who haven’t returned, offering support to connect them with a new therapist and assisting with payment collections when needed
- Keep our employee files organized and up to date for employment and credentialing (we love good documentation)
- Submit and track prior authorizations so clients can access services through Medicaid/Medicare without extra headaches
- Stay on top of team reminders to help providers and clients stay connected and informed
- Keep an eye on shared inboxes and make sure messages get prompt, thoughtful responses
- Offer support to clients who have questions or need help navigating their care
- Pitch in with billing tasks when the team needs a hand
- Collaborate with our Office Admin on shared projects, task coverage, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Handle faxing, scanning, mailing, and other behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our operations humming along

Company Structure
Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time! So we created a new model: one that puts flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and our people first, while remaining a socially conscious and responsible for-profit business focused on changing how we treat mental health.
