About Ellie Mental Health:
Ellie Mental Health is a community-based mental health provider dedicated to transforming the culture of mental healthcare. We strive to make therapy approachable and accessible, offering services to individuals with insurance and those who prefer private pay options. Our mission is to create a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians, fostering growth, authenticity, and balance. Our New York team currently includes 10 dedicated mental health professionals, and we are actively growing to meet increasing demand. As part of this growth, we are excited to expand our services to include pharmacological treatment, allowing us to provide more comprehensive care for our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding team in New York. This role is ideal for both emerging professionals and experienced practitioners who are passionate about delivering client-centered psychiatric care. We offer flexible work models, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid options, to accommodate the diverse needs of our staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams
· Provide psychoeducation to clients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
· Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment
· Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in psychiatric care
Qualifications:
· Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of New York
· Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
· New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship opportunities are available
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
· Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Compensation & Benefits:
· Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience
