About the Role:
Join our passionate team at Ellie Mental Health as a Part Time Outpatient Mental Health Therapist in Clifton Park, NY. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy sessions to clients with diverse mental health needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote mental wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Facilitate community outreach and educational workshops as needed.
- Support clients in developing coping strategies and achieving personal goals.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Valid and active state licensure (LMHC or LMFT).
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.
- Commitment to cultural competency and diversity in practice.
