Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy as agreed upon in the contract.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) within 48 hours of each session in the designated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with case managers, schools, medical personnel, and other professionals as needed.
- Maintain professional liability insurance (minimum $1M per occurrence, $3M aggregate) and provide proof of coverage.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state laws for confidentiality and record-keeping.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold a valid clinical license in South Carolina (LMFT, LPC, LISW, etc.).
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in psychotherapy with diverse client populations.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Records (Valant experience a plus!).
- Must carry professional liability insurance and provide proof before contracting.
Additional Details:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position (not a W-2 employee role).
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
- No minimum caseload is guaranteed, but referrals may be provided.
