Ellie was founded with the goal of destigmatizing mental health care by breaking down barriers and providing innovative, client-centered therapy. We are looking for independent contractors to join our team and help make mental health services more accessible to the communities we serve.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy through HIPAA-compliant telehealth services.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) within 48 hours of each session in the designated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Submit billing within 48 hours of service completion via the company’s designated EMR system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state laws, and professional ethical guidelines.
- Maintain professional liability insurance (minimum $1M per occurrence, $3M aggregate) and provide proof of coverage.
- Provide therapy services in a professional and confidential environment (no public spaces).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Active clinical license in South Carolina (LMFT, LPC, LISW, etc.).
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in telehealth therapy and virtual mental health services.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Records (Valant experience a plus!).
- Must provide own equipment (computer, webcam, high-speed internet, phone) and maintain a confidential workspace.
- Must carry professional liability insurance and provide proof before contracting.
Additional Details:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position (not a W-2 employee role).
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
- No minimum caseload is guaranteed, but referrals may be provided.
