- Supervision & Meetings: Regularly participate in clinical supervision and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in school-based mental health interventions and apply this knowledge to your practice.
- Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Has applied for an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) license, or Master's in Social Work (MFW) from Georgia's Licensure Board.
- Skill Set: Strong ability to establish rapport with students, families, and school staff, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Professional Growth: A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Licensure: Ideally nearing completion of full licensure.

Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
