A Clinical Psychologist with competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, experience working with a pediatric, adolescent, and young adult population, and a special interest in Autism assessment. The ideal candidate will help set up a program to conduct child and adolescent diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program.

Who is Ellie?
- Complete psychiatric assessment on child & adolescent patient
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling child & adolescent patients and their families as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management.
- Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures
- Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
- Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Virginia
- Have a clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship.
- Experience with completing psychological evaluations
- Familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 Process Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
