(This position may be based at either location and will be determined collaboratively with you and based on clinic needs.)
- Complete diagnostic assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation (annual updates, treatment reviews, progress notes)
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 scheduled sessions and 15 completed client visits weekly
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients
- Collaborate with team members to improve access to care in our community
- Use creative interventions to support client goals
- Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, and other professionals as needed
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and team activities
- Active clinical license in Idaho (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW preferred)
- Prompt and effective communicator
- Strong professional boundaries
- Timely documentation skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant experience a plus)
- Comfort with electronic intakes, portals, and automated processes
- Comfortable discussing billing and collecting client financial responsibility
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to sign a non-compete and provide therapy services exclusively through Ellie during employment
- Engaged team member who values collaboration despite part-time status
- Passion for expanding access to mental health care locally

- Commission-only pay model based on experience: Tier 1 (30%), Tier 2 (35%), Tier 3 (40%), Tier 4 (45%)
- $20/hour for required meetings
- Hybrid schedule averaging ~25 hours/week in office

Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
