Who is Ellie Mental Health?
Master’s degree (M.A.) from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavior, or human service field, including but not limited to psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human development, and educational psychology.
- Clinical license through the State of Texas for one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- May be provisionally licensed.
- Must maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policies.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
- Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to incorporate patient history, symptoms to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
- Able to easily identify your passion population so that we may help you build your caseload around a population that you love and are passionately interested in.
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work autonomously.

- Training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, play therapy, disordered eating and process addictions will be highly considered.

We are currently recruiting for positions at our new clinic located in Conroe and at our primary clinic located centrally in The Woodlands. Candidates interested in either location are encouraged to apply as well.
- This position reports to Clinic Managers, who in turn report to our Clinic Directors.

- Compensation for our therapists is a hybrid combination of base hourly pay, commission splits, flexibility in setting individual schedules and managing their own caseload at a comfortable level, focusing their efforts on specialties from our warm and inviting offices.
- Candidates can be pre-licensed Associates or fully licensed Therapists.
- Experience and interest in one or more treatment focused areas, including children, adolescents, teens and adults, couples, families, couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and schools in encouraged to meet the needs of our communities.
- A general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation is preferred.
- Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
- Responsibilities include evaluating mental health diagnosis, creating, and implementing treatment plans, ongoing documentation, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policies.
- Full-Time status clinicians are expected to average a caseload of 27 client visits per week, provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Candidates utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals is highly desirable.
- Additional responsibilities include preparing and submitting individual documentation after each session.
- Coordination of services, as appropriate, with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
