Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree or doctoral degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Active license to provide psychotherapy in the state of Illinois - LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
- Relevant clinical experience, including traditional therapy sessions, diagnosis assessment, treatment plan development and review, and proper documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
- Timely completion and submission of service documentation and related documents
- Experience working with a diverse client base
- Proficiency in typical office technology and Electronic Health Record systems
- Successful background check
- A GREAT sense of HUMOR :)
- Maintain a weekly caseload
- Conduct mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans
- Complete ongoing documentation, diagnosis reviews, and treatment plan updates according to company policies
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with the team to address service gaps in the community
- Utilize industry-recognized interventions to help clients achieve their goals
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions
- And other therapist-y responsibilities we might have missed but are equally vital to your role ;)
Bonus Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with diverse clinical presentations
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation
- A willingness to partner in building your practice through marketing and professional outreach
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion for your work!
- W-2 Position
- Flexible scheduling, including the option to transition between in-person and tele-health sessions
- Private Practice setting with full team of shared services support for EMR, clinical resources, insurance verification, billing, liability insurance, and brand recognition
- A positive, culturally-responsive work environment emphasizing authenticity, connection, and collaboration
- Ongoing clinical supervision and case consultation to prevent burnout and address challenging cases
- Modern and comfortable office space
