Please note - we’re only considering fully licensed Approved Clinical Supervisor LPCs for this position.

What You’ll Do at Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston: 
  • Deliver Thoughtful, Tailored Care: Conduct comprehensive mental health intakes, develop customized treatment plans, and complete timely documentation including diagnoses, plan updates, and session notes in alignment with company standards. 
  • Build a Full-Time Caseload: Maintain a minimum of 25 direct client facing hours per week as a full-time clinician, with an initial scheduling availability of 35 hours per week to support steady caseload growth. 
  • Guide the Next Generation: Provide supervision to Limited Licensed clinicians through clinical consultation, mentorship, and ongoing support to foster their professional growth and success. 
  • Create Meaningful Connections: Offer exceptional service to clients while collaborating with a passionate, purpose-driven team dedicated to closing care gaps in our community. 
  • Therapy with Heart and Innovation: Bring creativity to your interventions, empowering clients to achieve (and often surpass) their therapeutic goals.

 Required Qualifications & Core Competencies: 
  • Advanced Educational Foundation: A master’s degree in behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required. 
  • Mandatory Licensure for Clinical Practice: Applicants must hold full, unrestricted licensure in the State of Michigan. Note: Provisional or limited licensure does not meet eligibility criteria. 
  • Clinical Proficiency: Proven experience in creating and implementing treatment plans, as well as maintaining detailed clinical documentation including case notes and diagnostic updates. 
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that support therapeutic effectiveness, collaboration, and client trust. 
  • Professional Boundaries & Integrity: Demonstrated ability to establish and uphold stable, ethical boundaries with clients in a clinical setting. 
  • Timely and Accurate Documentation: Consistently completes session records, service notes, and required documentation promptly and in alignment with agency guidelines. 
  • Inclusive Clinical Approach: Comfortable and confident working with a diverse population across age groups, backgrounds, and presenting issues. 
  • Technology Competence: Proficient in day-to-day office tools and electronic health records (EHR); experience with Valant is a plus! 
Preferred Qualifications & Expertise: 
  • Private Practice Savvy: Prior experience in a private practice setting equips candidates to thrive in our collaborative, client-centered clinic environment. 
  • Supervisory Experience: Background in providing clinical supervision or mentoring to early-career clinicians, with a passion for supporting their growth and development helps our limited licensed clinicians grow. LPCs need the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential or meet the other Supervisor requirements through LARA.
  • Holistic Knowledge of the Mental Health Landscape: We value professionals who bring a working knowledge of therapy services, community support systems, insurance billing processes, and effective documentation practices along with an established referral network. 
  • Credentialing That Amplifies Access: Fully licensed clinicians who are credentialed with multiple insurance panels and EAPs are especially well-positioned to help us expand care access and reach more individuals in need. 
  • Welcoming Solo Practitioners: We encourage applications from private practice owners seeking a collaborative environment.  Our team is experienced in supporting smooth transitions into our clinic model with tools that preserve clinical autonomy while reducing operational stress. 
  • Marketing Mindset & Social Media Fluency: Candidates with experience leveraging social media and community marketing are especially valuable.  Your ability to amplify visibility, drive engagement, and connect with local audiences supports both clinic growth and client access.
