Who Are We Looking For?
Are you interested in giving private practice a try and have night & weekend availability? And you want to try it in a supportive environment without financial risk? We are looking for AWESOME Therapists to expand our availability to clients on nights & weekends -- our most in-demand times! The perfect candidate will share our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care in the Pflugerville / North Austin area and is looking for a flexible part-time outpatient position. This person will thrive in a culture that emphasizes our core values of creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination. Opportunities for in-person individual, couples, family, and group therapy services, as well as occasional telehealth. Our therapist unicorns relish working with autonomy and flexibility, while being part of a larger team.

What We Have to Offer
In addition to flexible scheduling and getting to choose what types of patients you see; part-time clinicians are compensated on a model of an hourly base salary plus commission. This allows us to offer amazing benefits like access to optional health, dental, vision & group life insurance, paid admin/documentation time, unlimited access to Ellie's CEU library, and 50% reimbursement of any licensure renewal costs. Part-time therapists are able to set their own schedule with the expectation of scheduling at least 15 sessions per week.
If desired, there is an opportunity to grow into a full-time position where benefits are expanded to include the above + we pay for 50% of the employee's health insurance, paid time-off (10 days per year) and holidays (8 per year), paid professional development (up to 20 hours a year), and 100% reimbursement of any licensure renewal costs. Estimated annual compensation between $30,000-$40,000 depending on years of experience as a licensed therapist. Full-time associate level clinicians are also provided free clinical supervision with internal/onsite supervisor.
Employees also have the opportunity for remote work on a varying basis based on the availability of virtual clients.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
• Candidates must have a valid independent license to practice in the state of Texas (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP)
• Required experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
• Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities
• Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Already credentialed with insurance panels
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams, or equivalent
• Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (experience with Valant a plus!)
• A great sense of humor won't hurt - we love to laugh!
Responsibilities and Duties
• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• For part-time status, clinicians must schedule at least 15 client sessions per week with full-time clinicians scheduling a minimum of 30 client sessions per week
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, school staff as needed, and other Ellie staff
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role
